Every Telegram Business feature comes with a Telegram Premium subscription and lives in one place: Settings → Telegram Business. ## What is Telegram Business It is a set of tools for people who talk to customers from their own account: opening hours and location, a start page for new chats, quick replies, a greeting message, an away message, chat links and connected chatbots. Telegram launched it in 2024. You do not need a separate business account: the features are switched on in the settings of your own account, and you need Premium for that. All of them are part of the subscription. ## How to set a greeting sticker 1. Open Settings → Telegram Business and choose the start page. 2. Write a title and a text — for example, "Welcome!" and a line about when you reply. 3. Pick a sticker: a random one, or one you choose. This page is shown to people who have no conversation with you yet, before their first message. > **Important:** The start page and the greeting message are two different things. The first is how an empty chat looks; the second is a message you send once someone writes to you. ## Greeting and away messages - **Greeting message** is sent to people who contact you for the first time. You can set a period after which a new message triggers the greeting again. - **Away message** is an automatic reply for when your business is closed or you are on vacation. Telegram's documentation lets you send it always, only outside working hours, or during a period you choose. Both are built from a quick reply. A quick reply can hold formatted text, links, stickers, media and files, and it can consist of several messages — that is how a sticker ends up in a greeting. ## Opening hours and location In the opening hours and location sections you show when you are available and where you are. Telegram displays the location on a map. The working hours also work with the away message, which can switch on outside them. ## Quick replies, chat links and chatbots - **Quick replies** are ready-made messages you send with one tap. A quick reply may contain several messages. - **Chat links** are links to a chat with you — for example, for a button to reserve a table or track an order. A link can carry a ready text, and Telegram counts how many times it was opened. - **Chatbots** — you connect a Telegram bot that processes and answers messages on your behalf.
