Telegram always shows the recipient who sent a gift — even if the sender hid their name. Everyone else sees only what is shown on the recipient's profile. And Telegram has no list of the gifts someone has given to others at all.

## How to find out who sent you a gift

1. Open My Profile → the Gifts tab.
2. Tap the gift: the card says who it's from, plus the message if there is one.

A gift also arrives as a message in your chat with the sender, which shows who sent it as well.

If the sender turned on "Hide My Name", you still see who the gift is from: the name is hidden only from people who view your profile. More in [how to give a gift](https://shiba-bank.com/en/guides/send-telegram-gift).

## How to see another person's gifts

Open the person's profile and their Gifts tab. It shows only the gifts they choose to display. Hidden gifts are seen by no one but the owner — not in the list and not in the count.

Every displayed gift shows its sender, unless the sender hid their name. If they did, the gift is shown without a sender, and an outsider can't find out who it was.

How to manage your own gifts is in [gifts on your profile](https://shiba-bank.com/en/guides/hide-gifts-in-profile).

## Can you find out whom someone gave gifts to

No. Telegram has no list of the gifts a person has sent. You can only see the sender of a particular gift on the recipient's profile — if the recipient displays it and the sender didn't hide their name.

You'll find the gifts you sent in your Stars history: Settings → My Stars → Outgoing. Open a transaction to see the details.

## Gift "lookup" bots

Bots that promise to show whom someone gave gifts to, or to reveal an anonymous sender, see the same as you: public profiles. Hidden gifts and hidden names aren't available to them. Such bots often ask you to sign in with your account or to pay for "access" — a reason to leave.

> **Important:** Never share your Telegram login code or cloud password, even if a bot promises to show gifts in return. With your login code a stranger signs in to your account and can transfer your unique gifts to themselves.

NFT gifts moved to the TON blockchain have a public ownership history: TON explorers show it by the gift's address. Gifts inside Telegram have no such history.
