You can get Telegram Premium for 1 month only for your own account and only as a subscription inside Telegram: through the App Store, Google Play or the official @PremiumBot. Such a subscription renews by itself until you cancel it. A one-month Premium cannot be gifted: as a gift, on Fragment and in the Shiba Bank bot it is sold for 3, 6 or 12 months. If paying in the app does not work for you, the shortest term you can buy separately is 3 months.
Where to get Premium for a month
Telegram sells the monthly plan itself, in two ways:
- In the app. Open Settings, go to the Telegram Premium section, choose the monthly plan and confirm the purchase. The payment goes through the App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android.
- In @PremiumBot. This is Telegram's official bot. Its subscription is monthly or yearly too, and the price is lower because the payment carries no Apple or Google fee. The bot works only in the versions of Telegram downloaded from telegram.org: Android, desktop and macOS. Apps installed from the App Store or Google Play do not support it.

How much Premium costs for a month
The price depends on the country and the store, and the app adds store fees and local taxes. The exact amount is on the subscribe button before you pay.
For a sense of scale: on 2 October 2026 the monthly plan in the US App Store was listed at $4.99, and in the Russian App Store at 329 ₽. The bot's prices for 3, 6 and 12 months are on the Premium page.
Can you gift Premium for a month
No. Gifted Premium is a prepaid subscription for 3, 6 or 12 months: the Telegram FAQ says so, Fragment sells the same three terms, and so does the Shiba Bank bot.
To gift 3 months, open the person's profile and look for the Gift Premium button, as the Telegram Premium FAQ describes. In the bot you only need your friend's @username: step by step in how to gift Telegram Premium. If your friend needs exactly a month, they have to take the monthly subscription themselves.
If paying in the app does not work
In some countries payment in the app often fails; in Russia, for example, Google Play billing has been paused since 10 March 2022 (Google, in Russian). Then a fixed term is what remains. In the Shiba Bank bot the shortest is 3 months:
- Tap "👑 Buy Premium" and choose the term, 3 months.
- Choose who it is for: "👤 For myself" or "🎁 As a gift" with your friend's @username.
- Pay with crypto or with Stars from the wallet in the bot; the wallet can be topped up by card where available.
- The bot sets up Premium on the account and tells you when it is done. You do not log in to the account or pass any Fragment verification.
This Premium does not renew: it ends at the end of its term, and there is nothing to cancel.
Never share your Telegram login code with anyone. If a "seller" offers a month of Premium in exchange for a code or a password, it is a scam: through Fragment and the bot Premium is set up by @username, and no login is needed. More in how to avoid Telegram scams.
How to turn off auto-renewal
A subscription from the App Store, Google Play or @PremiumBot charges you every month until you cancel it. Cancel it where you bought it:
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Telegram Premium → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: open the subscriptions section in Google Play, pick Telegram and tap Cancel subscription.
- @PremiumBot: send the bot the
/stopcommand.
If you need exactly one month, cancel right after paying: Premium keeps working until the end of the paid period, and there is no next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. More in how to cancel Telegram Premium.
