Paid channel subscriptions on Telegram
How a paid Telegram channel subscription for Stars works: how the author sets it up, how to subscribe, where to see your subscriptions and how to cancel a paid subscription.
A channel's author can charge a monthly fee in Stars for joining. The subscriber pays in Stars once a month and keeps access while the subscription renews.
How to set up a paid subscription
For the channel's author:
- Channel Settings → Channel Type → Manage Invite Links.
- Create a new link and turn on Require Monthly Fee.
- Set the price in Stars and share the link with future subscribers.
Stars from subscriptions build up on the channel's balance and can be withdrawn through Fragment — how to withdraw Stars from a channel.

How to subscribe
Open the invite link and pay for the subscription with Stars. If you are short of Stars, buy them in the Shiba Bank bot, from 50 Stars.
How to see and cancel a subscription
Telegram shows your Star subscriptions in Settings → My Stars, and that is where you cancel them. After you cancel, the subscription does not renew, and access stays until the end of the month you paid for.
