How to create a Telegram Stars cheque in the Shiba Bank bot: Stars by link for one person or many, a password, a required channel subscription and account requirements.
A cheque is Stars by link. You set Stars aside from your wallet in the bot, get a link and share it anywhere, and whoever opens the link claims the Stars.
How to create a cheque
- In the bot tap "Create a cheque" or send /cheques.
- Choose a budget — how many Stars to hand out. The bot suggests how to split them between people, or set your own number.
- Set conditions if you want them (below).
- Share the link or send the cheque to a chat.
Conditions for claiming
- Password — a code word without which the cheque will not open. Each person has a limited number of tries.
- Subscription — up to a few channels or chats to join. The bot must be their administrator; a join request that has not been approved yet does not count.
- Account requirements — Telegram Premium, account level, no negative rating and an NFT gift on the profile. They work together and narrow down who can claim.
What happens to the Stars
The Stars are held as soon as the cheque is created. If you close the cheque or it expires, whatever was not claimed returns to your wallet. Past cheques are under "Finished": how much was claimed and how much came back.
A share for reposts
You can give part of every claim to the person who shared the cheque: they take their own link and receive Stars for everyone who came through it.

Where do Stars from a cheque go?
To the claimer's wallet in the bot. From there they can be withdrawn to a Telegram account.
Can a cheque be posted in the cheques channel?
Yes, with a separate button and a confirmation, if the cheque is large enough. A posted cheque cannot be taken down or changed, and it can be closed some time after the post.
What if nobody claims the cheque in time?
When it expires, the Stars left return to your wallet by themselves.
