Where to see your Telegram Stars balance
How to check your Telegram Stars balance: Settings → My Stars on iPhone, Android and desktop. The transaction history, a channel's or bot's Stars, Star reactions and whether Stars can be refunded.
The Stars you bought or received are kept on your Telegram account's balance. You find them in the settings: the item is called "My Stars", and it has the same name in the apps for iPhone, Android and desktop. The same screen holds the full history of your Stars transactions.
How to check your Telegram Stars balance
- Open "Settings": on iPhone and Android it is a tab in the bottom bar, in Telegram Desktop — an item in the ☰ menu.
- Tap "My Stars".
- The "Telegram Stars" screen opens: your balance, the "Buy More Stars" button and the transaction history.
Next to it in the settings you may see "My Grams" — a separate balance in cryptocurrency, not Stars.
The "My Stars" screen is part of Telegram's official apps. Third-party clients may not have it — check your balance in an official app.
What the "My Stars" screen shows
- Balance — how many Stars are on the account right now.
- "Buy More Stars" — topping up right in the app. If the in-app purchase doesn't go through, there are other ways.
- Gift Stars to Friends — buying Stars for someone else's account.
- Transaction history — with the "All Transactions", "Incoming" and "Outgoing" tabs.
- "My subscriptions" — paid subscriptions to channels and bots that take Stars every month, if you have any.
Stars history: what it shows
Every top-up and every spend is there: Stars purchases, gifts, Star reactions, paid photos and videos, subscriptions, message fees and refunds. Tap a transaction to see its details and the Transaction ID — you'll need it if a purchase from a bot never arrived.
Photos and videos you unlocked with Stars stay available even if the author deletes the post or you leave the channel: you can find them in the transaction history. How such posts work is covered in paid messages, photos and videos.
Transactions can't be deleted from the Stars history — Telegram has no such option.
A channel's, group's or bot's Stars
Stars that a channel, group or bot receives sit on its own balance, not in your "My Stars".
- Channel. The balance is in the channel's statistics, on the "Monetization" tab. Star reactions and payments for paid posts and subscriptions go there.
- Group. If a group charges Stars for messages, its balance is shown in the group's profile.
- Bot. The owner sees the balance in the bot's profile: "Edit" → "Balance".

Star reactions: what a star under a post means
A star with a number under a channel post is a Star reaction: subscribers sent the channel Stars to support the post, and the number shows how many Stars it has received in total. The Stars go to the channel's balance. Such a post has a leaderboard of top senders.
Any subscriber can add a Star reaction if the channel has turned it on: Telegram asks how many Stars to send and takes them from your balance. To stay off the leaderboard, turn off "Show me in Top Senders".
Right after sending, a "Stars sent!" notice with an "Undo" button appears — while it is on screen, you can cancel. After that the Stars are on the channel's balance.
A channel admin turns Star reactions on in "Channel Settings" → "Reactions" → "Enable Paid Reactions", and off in the same place.
Can Stars be refunded?
- Bought Stars. Under the Telegram Stars terms, purchases are final: Telegram does not refund Stars bought by mistake or no longer needed. If you paid through the App Store or Google Play, the store decides on refunds under its own rules — and after such a refund Telegram can take those Stars off your balance.
- A purchase from a bot didn't arrive. Send that bot the
/paysupportcommand: the developer can refund your Stars. If they refuse a legitimate refund, take the transaction ID from your history and report it to Telegram — the link is in the Telegram Stars terms. - Stars paid for a message. Only the recipient can return them — see paid messages.
- A Star reaction. Only with "Undo" right after sending.
- A gift. A regular gift can be converted into Stars by the person who received it — how to convert a gift.

If you delete your account or lose access to it, the Stars on its balance are lost: under Telegram's rules they are not returned.
If your Stars have disappeared
Open "My Stars" → "Outgoing": every spend is there — a gift, a reaction, a paid post, a subscription fee. Subscriptions that take Stars every month are listed under "My subscriptions": tap one and choose "Cancel Subscription" to stop it renewing. Telegram itself can also take Stars off the balance — for example, after a purchase is refunded through the App Store or Google Play.
Stars in the bot's wallet are a separate balance
Stars you bought in the Shiba Bank bot "To my wallet in the bot", won in drops or received by cheque are in the bot's wallet, not in Telegram's "My Stars". Their balance is in the bot's "Wallet" section. To move them to your account, withdraw them: "Wallet" → "Withdraw" → "To a Telegram account". More in the Stars wallet in the bot.
You can also top up your Stars through the bot: they arrive on your account through Fragment, usually within a minute.

Where are my Stars on Telegram?
In "Settings" → "My Stars". The item has the same name on iPhone, Android and in the desktop apps.
Can I delete my Telegram Stars history?
No. Single transactions or the whole Stars history can't be deleted — Telegram has no such option.
Can I get a refund for Telegram Stars?
Telegram doesn't refund bought Stars: under its terms the purchase is final. A bot's developer can return Stars if a purchase didn't arrive, and the recipient of a paid message can return what you paid.
Why don't Stars from the bot's wallet show up in "My Stars"?
They are two separate balances. Stars from the Shiba Bank wallet reach your account once you withdraw them: "Wallet" → "Withdraw" → "To a Telegram account".
How do I see a channel's or bot's Stars balance?
A channel's Stars are in its statistics, on the "Monetization" tab; a bot's are in the bot's profile under "Edit" → "Balance". Only the owner can withdraw them through Fragment.
