How to give away Stars in a Telegram group

How to hand out Stars to members of your Telegram group with the Shiba Bank bot's +boom and +boom react commands: setup, entry conditions and protection from bots.

The Shiba Bank bot hands out Stars right in a group: it takes one command, and the Stars come from your wallet in the bot.

Setting up

1. Add the bot to the group and make it an administrator. Without admin rights Telegram shows bots only commands that start with "/", so +boom would never reach it. It needs no rights to delete or ban.
2. Top up your wallet in the bot.

+boom — evenly among active members

+boom 100 splits 100 Stars evenly among random active members: those with a public @username who wrote in the chat during the last day or tapped "Join BOOM". Activity counts from the moment the bot became an administrator.

+boom react — a drop for seats

+boom react 100 20 — 100 Stars for 20 seats. People join with a button on the card; the picture shows which one, and two mistakes knock a person out of the drop: that is what keeps bots out. The amount is split at random, at least one Star each. If the seats do not fill within a day, the drop is cancelled and the whole amount comes back.

Entry conditions

Chat administrators decide who can join +boom react: how many messages a person has written in the chat, how many days they have been in it, whether Telegram Premium and an NFT gift are required. The settings are in your private chat with the bot: "Wallet" → "Chat drops" → "My chats".

A transfer to one person

+send 10 stars in reply to a message sends 10 Stars to that person's wallet in the bot. Transfers do not need admin rights.
