Telegram boosts
What boosts are in a Telegram channel or group, what boost levels unlock, who can boost a channel and how a channel gets boosts through Telegram Premium and giveaways.
A boost is a vote for a channel or group from a subscriber with Telegram Premium. The more boosts, the higher the channel's level and the more it can do.
Who can boost a channel
Subscribers with Telegram Premium. Every Premium subscription gives 4 boosts: they can go to one channel or be split among several. The easiest way to boost a channel is through its boost link.
What boost levels unlock
- Stories from the channel or group. From level 1 a channel can post stories, and every next level adds one more story a day.
- Looks and other features. What each level unlocks, Telegram shows in the channel's boosts section.
How a channel gets boosts
- Ask subscribers with Premium. The boost link is in the channel's boosts section — you can pin it in a post.
- Give away Premium. Premium subscriptions given away in Telegram's built-in giveaway bring the channel boosts — how to run a giveaway in a channel.
- Gift Premium to subscribers. Every gifted Premium brings the channel boosts.
