"Withdrawing Stars from a bot" means two different things. If the bot is yours and people pay it in Stars, its owner withdraws them through Fragment. If the Stars sit on a balance inside a bot, like the wallet in Shiba Bank, you withdraw them the way that bot allows. Both cases below.

Your bot accepts Stars: withdrawal through Fragment

Stars your bot receives from users for goods, services or subscriptions build up on the bot's balance. That balance opens only from the Telegram account that owns the bot.

  • Only the bot's owner can withdraw.
  • The minimum is 1,000 Stars.
  • Each Star received becomes available for withdrawal 21 days later.
  • You need a cloud password, and withdrawal opens no sooner than 24 hours after turning it on or changing it — and after signing in on the device.
  • The payout arrives in GRAM (TON) through Fragment to your TON wallet.

How to withdraw:

  1. From the owner's account, open the bot's profile and its Stars balance.
  2. Tap withdraw via Fragment and enter the number of Stars.
  3. Enter your cloud password.
  4. On the Fragment page, connect your TON wallet or enter its address, and confirm.

Telegram's terms for developers set the rate at $0.013 per Star — about $13 for 1,000 Stars, which Fragment pays in GRAM (TON).

Important

Instead of withdrawing, a bot's Stars can pay for Telegram Ads: under the developer terms, a Star counts as $0.02 of advertising.

Channels follow the same withdrawal rules — see how to withdraw Stars from a channel.

Stars in the Shiba Bank wallet

The Shiba Bank bot has a wallet — a Stars balance inside the bot. It holds Stars you topped up, won in giveaways or received as transfers. There are two ways to withdraw them.

  • To a Telegram account. "Wallet" → "Withdraw" → "To a Telegram account" — for yourself or a friend. The Stars arrive on the account as real Stars, with no fee: you get exactly what you entered. The bot shows the minimum on screen.
  • For USDT. "Wallet" → "Withdraw" → "To a TON wallet" — this sells the Stars to the bot for USDT on TON. The rate for wallet Stars is on the price and rate page.

Stars in other bots

A balance inside a bot is that bot's own bookkeeping: Telegram doesn't see it, and Fragment doesn't withdraw it. How to take such Stars out is up to the bot that holds them.

Important

If a bot that credited you Stars for tasks asks you to pay to get them out, be careful.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I see my bot's Stars balance?

In the bot's profile, opened from the owner's account. Other users don't see this balance.

Can I withdraw a bot's Stars to a card?

Not directly. Fragment pays GRAM (TON) to a TON wallet, which you can exchange for dollars or local money at a crypto exchange or an exchange service.

How many Stars do I need to withdraw from my bot?

At least 1,000 Stars that have stayed on the bot's balance for 21 days.

How do I withdraw Stars from the Shiba Bank bot to my account?

"Wallet" → "Withdraw" → "To a Telegram account". There's no fee: you get exactly the number of Stars you entered.

Why won't the bot let me withdraw Stars?

If it's your bot, check that the balance has 1,000 Stars older than 21 days and that a cloud password is on. If the Stars sit on a balance in someone else's bot, that bot sets the withdrawal rules.
