How to sell an NFT gift on Telegram
How to sell an NFT gift on Telegram: on Telegram's marketplace for Stars or GRAM, through Fragment and TON NFT marketplaces, how to price it, and how to turn the Stars into money afterwards.
Only a unique — collectible, NFT — gift can be sold. A regular gift can only be converted to Stars in the first 7 days, not sold for money. If your gift can be upgraded, make it unique first — how to upgrade a gift to an NFT.
Where to sell an NFT gift
- Telegram's marketplace — the gift is sold right in the app for Stars or GRAM. Telegram itself runs the deal.
- Fragment — Telegram's marketplace for gifts moved to the TON blockchain. Prices are in GRAM.
- TON NFT marketplaces — for example, Getgems. These sell gifts moved to the blockchain.
- Offers from buyers — if someone offers a deal for your gift, Telegram sends it to you to accept or decline.

How to sell a gift on Telegram's marketplace
- Open My Profile → Gifts and choose a unique gift.
- Tap "Sell".
- Set the price — in Stars or in GRAM. Before you confirm, Telegram shows how much you'll get after the fee.
- Confirm. The gift appears on the marketplace with a "Sale" label.
When the gift is bought, the payment reaches your balance: Stars go to My Stars, GRAM to My GRAM. Until the gift is sold, you can take it off the marketplace with "Unlist".
A gift can't always be listed right after you get it: if it can't be sold yet, Telegram shows in its card when that becomes possible.
How to set the price
- Check the "Value" field in the gift's card: it shows an approximate resale price and the average sale price in the collection.
- Compare with gifts of the same collection on the marketplace, with the same model, backdrop or symbol.
- The rarer the gift's attributes, the higher the price: each attribute's rarity is shown in the card and in the NFT gift catalog.
How to sell for GRAM through Fragment
- Move the gift to the TON blockchain: Gifts → the gift → "Transfer" → withdrawal through Fragment. This needs a cloud password (two-step verification), and the withdrawal itself may open only after some time.
- Connect your own TON wallet, for example Tonkeeper, on Fragment.
- List the gift at a fixed price or as an auction. Fragment takes a fee from the sale.
Other TON NFT marketplaces work the same way: you connect your wallet and list the NFT. A blockchain transfer can't be reversed, so check the address and the marketplace.
How to get cash for a gift
Telegram has no direct sale of an NFT gift for roubles or other cash. The route is: sell the gift for Stars, then sell the Stars.
- Stars on your Telegram account are bought by the Shiba Bank bot for USDT on the TON network; the bot shows the rate before the sale.
- USDT into your local currency goes through P2P or exchange services — see how to withdraw USDT to a card.
Don't sell gifts "through an escrow" in chats and don't hand over a gift before you're paid. The official deal is the marketplace or an offer inside the Telegram app: there Telegram holds the payment and transfers the gift.
