How to turn Telegram Stars into cash
Telegram has no button that sends Stars to a bank or a mobile wallet. But Stars on a personal account can be sold for USDT, and USDT turns into local money on any P2P market. That is the whole route: Stars → USDT → your money.
Step 1: sell the Stars for USDT
- Open the Shiba Bank bot and press «💱 Sell Stars».
- Choose where the Stars come from: your Telegram account or the wallet in the bot.
- Enter the amount — 100 to 5,000 Stars per order. The bot shows how much USDT you get before you confirm.
- Choose where the USDT goes: a TON wallet, @CryptoBot or @xRocket.
- Pay the bot's invoice with your Stars and get the USDT.
Today's rate and a calculator are on the sell page. For 1,000 Stars from an account the bot pays about 11 USDT; from the bot's wallet the rate is higher.
Step 2: turn USDT into local money
USDT is a digital dollar. To get local money, you sell it to a person on a P2P market: they pay you in your currency, and the USDT goes to them once you confirm the money arrived.
- @CryptoBot and Walt have P2P markets inside Telegram. If the bot sent your payout to @CryptoBot, the USDT is already there — no transfer needed.
- Exchanges with P2P let buyers pay with local methods.
How buyers pay depends on the country:
| Country | Common ways to get paid |
|---|---|
| Bangladesh | bKash, Nagad, bank transfer |
| India | UPI, IMPS, bank transfer |
| Pakistan | Easypaisa, JazzCash, bank transfer |
| Nigeria | bank transfer |
| Brazil | PIX |
| Other countries | bank transfer or local wallets |
Which methods a P2P market supports in your country, check on the market itself. More on P2P trades — how to withdraw USDT to a card.
How much you get in the end
Your final amount = the bot's rate for the Stars − the P2P buyer's margin. The bot pays exactly the amount it showed before you confirmed — no extra fee on top. On P2P, compare a few buyers: the rate differs from one to another.
Stay safe
- Release the USDT only after the money is in your account — check in your banking or wallet app, not by a screenshot.
- Don't leave the P2P deal for a private chat: the market's protection works only inside the deal.
- Never share your Telegram login code, cloud password or wallet seed phrase. No one needs them to buy your Stars or USDT — scams in Telegram.
- Be wary of anyone who offers a rate far above the market: that's how fake-payment scams start.
Which Stars can be sold
- Stars on your personal account — yes, to the bot.
- Stars in the bot's wallet — yes, at a higher rate.
- Stars on a channel or a bot's balance — not to the bot: they are withdrawn through Fragment for TON — withdraw Stars from a channel.
