How to withdraw Stars from Telegram

You can't withdraw Stars from Telegram directly, the way you take money off a card. Through Fragment, Telegram pays out only Stars received by channels and bots, and Stars that people and groups get for paid messages. Stars you bought or were given can be sold — for example, to the Shiba Bank bot for USDT.
Channel, bot and paid-message Stars: withdrawal through Fragment
- Channels and bots. The owner withdraws the Stars the channel or bot received.
- Paid messages. People and groups that charge Stars for messages withdraw the Stars they got that way — see paid messages.
- The payout arrives in TON to the wallet entered on Fragment.
- The minimum withdrawal is 1,000 Stars.
- Each Star received becomes available for withdrawal 21 days later.

Stars on a personal account: selling
Telegram does not withdraw Stars you bought or were given on a personal account. You can sell them:
- Open the Shiba Bank bot and tap “Sell Stars”.
- Choose selling from your Telegram account and the amount.
- Enter your TON wallet for the USDT.
- Pay the invoice with Stars — the USDT arrives in your wallet.

How to get cash
The bot pays in USDT on TON. To get local money, USDT is exchanged at an exchange service or a crypto exchange — outside the bot.
Use trusted exchange services and never give anyone access to your wallet.

The bot pays in USDT. If you need TON itself, you can swap USDT for TON inside your wallet — Tonkeeper, for example, has a built-in swap.
